◆What is VOCALOID™?
VOCALOID™ is a technology developed by Yamaha that synthesizes singing voices by inputting lyrics and melody, as well as application software that utilizes this technology. It uses a "singer library" created from actual human voice data to synthesize voices via a "synthesis engine." By adding expressive information (such as vibrato) to the score data, more realistic singing voices can be created. The breath components in the singing voice are also more natural.
