Installation does not complete successfully.

Please ensure that you have enough free space on your HDD. Additionally, to run Windows stably, you need at least 1GB of free space. You need to consider not only the space required to install this product but also the space required for Windows to run stably. Also, depending on the audio and video data you handle, the required free space may increase significantly.

I have not Getd VOCALOID™4 Editor. Can I still use it?

VOCALOID™4 Editor is required to use the VOCALOID™4 voice library.

I was using it without any problems, but after a while, it stopped working.

It seems that the activation period has expired. The VOCALOID™4 voice library requires activation (internet-based authentication) to be used. Please refer to the included "VOCALOID4 Installation Guide" and follow the instructions.

Can I reinstall and reactivate the VOCALOID™4 voice library on the same PC?

You can reinstall it on the same PC as many times as you like.
However, if you reinstall the OS, recover the system, or remove or replace the hard disk or LAN card set as the activation device, you will need to reactivate after deactivation. Please make sure to deactivate before performing these actions.

Note that deactivation will no longer be possible after reinstalling the OS or removing hardware, so please make sure to do it beforehand.

Can I install and use the VOCALOID™4 voice library on a different PC than the one I initially activated it on?

The VOCALOID™4 voice library can only be used on one PC.
If you want to move the environment to another PC, you need to uninstall and deactivate (release the authentication) from the previous PC. After uninstalling the VOCALOID library from the old PC environment, please make sure to execute deactivation using the following tool.

Can I use it with other companies' VOCALOID™4 products?

You can use other companies' products with VOCALOID4 Editor as long as they are VOCALOID™4 or VOCALOID™3 voice libraries.

Can I use it with VOCALOID™2 and VOCALOID™3 voice libraries?

For VOCALOID2 voice libraries, you need to import them into VOCALOID3 Editor first, and then you can use them with VOCALOID4 Editor. Please note that importing into VOCALOID3 Editor is required beforehand.
For VOCALOID3 voice libraries, you can use them directly with VOCALOID4 Editor.

Can I use it with the original VOCALOID voice library?

It is possible to coexist on the same PC, but VOCALOID and VOCALOID™4 have completely different engines. Therefore, you cannot use the original VOCALOID voice library with VOCALOID™4 Editor. Please use them separately.

The VOCALOID™4 voice library is being flagged by my security software.

Since the activation (authentication) requires an internet connection, it may be mistakenly flagged as dangerous by antivirus software or firewalls. The internet connection for the VOCALOID™4 voice library only sends and receives information necessary for authentication and is safe. If you receive such warnings, please consult the manual of your security software or the vendor and set the voice library to be allowed or excluded from monitoring.

If I use a VOCALOID3 voice library with VOCALOID4 Editor, can I use the new features of VOCALOID4?

You can use features of VOCALOID4 Editor itself, such as pitch rendering and pitch snap. Additionally, the cross-synthesis function can be used with libraries belonging to the same group. However, the growl function, which depends on the library itself, cannot be used.

I want to publish works created with the VOCALOID™4 voice library for personal use. Is that allowed?

Basically, you can publish without contacting us. However, please read the included End User License Agreement and Character Usage Guidelines carefully and comply with their contents.

I want to use works created with the VOCALOID™4 voice library for commercial purposes. Is that allowed?
